Your time is the whole thing

Your time is scarce in a way that is easy to know and hard to feel. It is the one thing you are spending constantly, cannot earn more of, and rarely notice going.

Almost nobody reaches the end of their life wishing they had spent more of it on social media. That is the strange part: the hours go there anyway, tens of thousands of them, handed over to feeds built by people whose job is to take them. Not chosen, exactly. Just gone, an afternoon at a time, in exchange for nothing anyone would miss.

Cronus exists to make that visible. Not to nag, not to score you, and not to add one more thing to keep up with. It watches what you actually do and tells you honestly where the day went, because you cannot choose differently until you can see what you chose.
